I wrote this one before the great dawn of the Privilege Denying Dude meme, but the timing is appropriate. I have submitted roughly A MILLION (seven), so keep an eye out for those.
I might be making buttons soon! Would you buy buttons? Leave a comment if you would buy buttons. It will encourage me to make buttons sooner! Buttons are great because they’re cheaper than t-shirts, and they are one size fits all! BUTTONS.
And are any of you in the area to go to ConBust? I’m thinking about getting a table.

WREN: Uh, well. I had to choose something for work-study. And this seemed like it could be alright.
BOSS: Oh. …ok. Do you have any experience working in an office?
WREN: No.
BOSS: Do you know how to use a copying machine?
WREN: Honestly?
BOSS: Do you have phone skills?
WREN: I mean, I’ve USED a phone.
BOSS: And if a student came in asking where the “white students resource center†is, you would…
WREN: Pffft, tell them to check the history department.
BOSS: Welcome to the team.
I would buy a button!
I think the best thing I like about this is that the punchline is both funny and smart. People can learn how to work phones and copy machines, but the right attitude and knowledge goes a long way.

I have been reading your comic since nearly the beginning. You would be just the sort of person we like to have! I am, in fact, the very person to talk to about getting a table, so I hope to hear from you soon.
I’d go to ConBust (it’s sort of in my neighborhood). Your being there would probably create a desire to go, as it seems most reasonable to go to cons to see people whose work is of interest to you. I fail at geekdom. :\
Anyway, that’d be cool, I think is what I’m trying to say.
