MARIA: More like a Anya and Xander season 7 deal. Without all the vengeance. We care about each other, but we’ll probably see other people, and we’re kind of together, but mostly not?
MARIA: It ended the best way it could possibly end. I’m glad he went back. It’s just - totally dominating my brain in the worst way.
WREN: Well, you’re allowed to be sad, Mar, an amicable breakup is still a breakup.
WREN: On the bright side, you’ll have plenty of distractions starting tomorrow.
MARIA: Uh ...tomorrow?
WREN: Yeah. The first day of classes? Did you forget?
MARIA: I... yes? What classes am I enrolled in? Will I need a pen? I don’t know if I own any pens.
