I am pleased to announce that Riot Nrrd will now be updated on Tuesday and Thursday!
Basically, I had the Sunday updates because I was finishing up college and it would be ridiculous for me to attempt more than one a week. But, school’s out, and I’m confident about my ability to keep the updates on schedule. And I’m kind of excited that I can progress the plot a little faster!

WREN: We were at a good point for a break, anyway. Besides, I didn’t want to leave things like we left them.
CANDICE: Me neither. It would be a stupid way to end.
WREN: I don’t even want to end! …Do, do you?
CANDICE: No, but…
CANDICE: This fall will be your first semester of college, and it’ll be my first at Berkeley. We’re both going to be overwhelmed, and long distance relationships are a lot of work. I don’t want to set us up for heartache. Maybe it WOULD be better if, when I leave, we… you know, take a break?
CANDICE: But, we can talk about it –
WREN: No, it makes sense. I wasn’t exaggerating about not seeing myself handling distance. This way we can enjoy our last months together, and get ready for the changes, and focus on school…
WREN: And get all of the moping and sobbing out of the way early.
CANDICE: Agreed.
From experience, long distance relationships aren’t always hard work. Some are very easy.
But they seem to stop working when it is no longer long distance.
